Warning! Femdom Social Media Scams

While scams and impersonation have long been an issue in the world of professional BDSM, in recent months there has been a strong uptick in scammer activity.

Most commonly the scammers create a social media account for a Domme, using her brand, content and pictures without her knowledge. In order to evade detection they will often block the lady herself and followers she seems closest to. The scammer then proceeds to impersonate the lady in order to extract/extort money gifts from their followers. Often the scammer will ask to move the conversation from the initial site where contact is made to Google Hangouts or other messaging services. Some of the scammers are quite sophisticated, even going so far as to create forged identity documents for Mistresses.

Scammers steal money from aspiring or unwary submissives and often scare them away from exploring Femdom with their pushy, greedy tactics.

They also steal copyrighted promotional content that Dommes have invested time and money into to creating. The impersonation and misuse of these materials can cause huge reputational damage to even well established, ethical Dommes.

To be very clear, whilst I am active on social media I never use social media accounts to proactively private message existing or potential slaves soliciting sessions or online play. In fact, my policy is to not accept session enquiries or discuss sessions via private message on social media at all. All session enquiries are handled by text message or via my official email address submit@msjadis.com
